After writing the poem this morning I continue to delve into ME…continuing to ride the wave of my thoughts and feelings.
This is NOT me
But it’s the thought of who “I am” supposed to be–
Behind that thought–
And there “I AM’!
How I BE–I love that term. For me, it is direct and to the point. How “I be” in the world, in my body, in my mind–MY BEINGNESS. It feels so ethereal, otherworldly, divine and all encompassing.
I am so fortunate to have time to be able to ponder my life and all it’s complexities. I couldn’t think of anything else that I would want to do with my time. I love delving into the deeper parts of self. Whether it is me or another…I say Bring it ON!
I like to think of these pondering of self as an archaeological dig. I have never been on one but seeing it in movies I think of our psyches as the big dig site. There I am with one of those small brushes they use to brush away any debris. Very gently brushing away anything that is hiding the nugget/bone/fossil that will fit into the bigger picture. That is what I do for myself and others who want to uncover the gems that lie beneath the armoring of time, trauma and life itself. This is the exploration. I use to call it “work” but recently a friend said she likes calling it an exploration. And I agree! Let’s go exploring into the deeper recesses of our souls and find those crystals/clusters that are waiting to be unearthed!
This picture is a crystal cluster that I dug from a mine in Arkansas last May. It was surrounded in rich wet/red mud. You don’t know what is underneath the mud until you wash it away. Then you are met with the beauty and grace of something that has been in the earth for millions of years.
Our beauty is waiting to be unearthed if we are willing to go to the recesses of our “earth” (body, mind, soul, spirit) to uncover and lovingly reveal ourselves.
I have been offering Wellness Coaching services for over 20 years. I am always honored and thrilled to work with people who are willing and desirous of connecting to their deeper selves. My work caters to those that have already done transformational work and are ready to go to another level of self-discovery.
