“There is no truth. There is only perception.” ~ Gustave Flaubert
That might feel insane… or is it in sane ~ to think that healing is a perception. It is an understanding of or an interpretation of something. And we are a culture that perceives illness or sickness as a way of living!
That is why, for me, it is a perception. Healing, health and the way we choose to live are all a matter of how we decide to choose to live. That might seem like a redundancy in my words but I think stating this many times and in many different ways is the only way anyone will start to get this into their body or their mind or their body/mind.
Before I go further I want to clarify my positioning on this and say that we all become imbalanced at times. That is what I call illnesses. They are imbalances in our body/mind system. They are imbalances in our thinking. Because what we think is what we feel. What we choose to put our attention to is what will ultimately show up inside of us. And what shows up inside of us will eventually show up outside of us so we can’t get away from our thoughts and how they impact our body and ultimately our health!
We are force fed illness and medications and believe that we really need all of those things to live. Yes, illness is a way of living for a lot of people. It is a given! It is implicitly stated that you WILL eventually become ill! You will eventually have “something wrong” with you! Illness is a billion dollar a year business. It is NOT in their best interest to get you well and functioning without medication.
HOWEVER, IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY/MIND AND FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU NEED TO PROSPER AND LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE!
These words are stated with the desire that you will receive them knowing that it is up to you to move from a place of your perceived knowing, while not blaming or shaming yourself if illness or sickness is in your experience. It happens to all of us and that is how we can learn to take our bodies back. It is yours and you are the only one who can decide to listen to what it is saying to you. Listen! Allow for the fears! Allow for the confusions!
Then Own it!
We are all healthy but for the limitations of our own thinking and perceptions that we are not!
I submitted these thoughts and views to different publications in the past and have pretty steadily been rejected for content because the publishers declared my views to be outside the comfort zone of their readership. Well Thank you publishers because they prompted me to continue publishing my own blogs with all my own views and thoughts and ideas without the limitations of an editor’s views. Maybe at times I have typo’s or incorrect phrasing or wording but it is all mine.
Thank you for reading my views, thoughts and maybe at times things that are outside of the perceived comfort zones.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” ~ Albert Einstein
Thoughts outside of our normal frame of referencing helps us to grow, learn and expand into something other than what we are before we heard, saw or read others ideas!
“Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you.” ~ Jon Bon Jovi
Diane, if it okay with you I am going to print this one, because it is worth reading every day!
