I couldn’t figure out a picture for this post.
This is NOT a political post!
I wonder if Viagra sales went down at the White House? Why do insurance companies even pay for Viagra? Are these two questions even related?
The government shut down ended today for three weeks.
I really don’t know where I am going with this post but I just felt the need to have my words written down and to expose my feelings about this situation. OK, so what are my feelings around this situation? I really don’t even know. Just like I really don’t know what the fuck is going on anymore with a lot of things.
Young boys holding sign that say they are pro life. Young boys getting up in older men’s faces with smirks on their faces and saying they were just standing there because the older man was drumming and he didn’t move so they didn’t move either?
Where am I going with this commentary? I don’t have a clue. Once again I will say I am just giving voice to thoughts that are jumbled and floating around in my head.
So back to the 35 day erection. I actually laughed to myself when I thought about that. What was accomplished in those days other than many people worrying about food, heat, MONEY in general and basic needs. Banks and lending companies offering them loans. Some sarcasm next ~ “OH, great let me take out a loan so I can be burdened some more after I go back to a job that is telling me I will get fired if I don’t go and they are not going to pay me but I need to show up ~ so let me take out a loan on top of all the other things I have to worry about!”
So where did the idea of a 35 day erection come from? I couldn’t come up with any other thought but a person (no need to mention who this is) swinging his appendage with vigor and the illusion of power while making demands? What is going on there?
As I said before I don’t know what or where this is going but I am just writing… well I guess Satire!
Thanks for reading.

Your erection analogy is hilarious! It is good to be able to laugh because otherwise we’d cry.
Thanks Carol! I found it quite humorous so I am happy that you appreciated my humor. Xo
